Unscripted - In the Heart of Africa
On the majestic slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, in the heart of Tanzania, a silent struggle unfolds. Every day, the porters, unsung heroes of the mountain, brave unforgiving conditions to carve out a living and support their families. But what lies behind the stoic faces and tireless footsteps? What does their world truly look like?
To uncover their story, we followed their path through this breathtaking yet harsh landscape. From the rugged trails of Kilimanjaro to the vast expanse of the Serengeti National Park, we delved into their lives, witnessing their challenges, resilience, and dreams. Along the way, we visited schools echoing with the laughter of children, hospitals standing as beacons of hope, and communities striving to rise above the odds. This journey reveals not just the hardships but also the unyielding spirit that defines a region and its people.
Beyond Maps
Beyond Maps is the story of a summer that never stands still.
A group of six friends set off on an unscripted journey across Asia...no script, no limits, just the open road and a hunger for something real. From neon-lit rooftops in Tokyo to drifting motorcycles through Vietnam’s jungle roads, they chase the thrill of the unknown, discovering hidden places, wild adventures, and unforgettable connections.
But it’s not just about where they go, it’s about what they find. In moments around campfires, sunrises over ancient temples, and spontaneous dives into the sea, they learn that life’s most powerful stories are the ones we live, not the ones we plan.
Cinematic, raw, and deeply human, Beyond Maps is more than a travel film - it’s a love letter to youth, freedom, and the feeling of being wildly, beautifully alive.
Intersection between Heaven & Hell
Deep within the smoldering heart of Indonesia’s Ijen volcano lies a world unlike any other—a place where earth and fire collide. Here, in the crater’s otherworldly depths, men toil under unimaginable conditions, mining sulfur amid choking fumes and searing heat. They do this for just a few dollars a day. But why? What drives them to face such relentless hardship? How do they live, and how do they cope with the haunting truth that their labor is slowly consuming their bodies?
Driven by these questions, I journeyed into this infernal landscape, determined to unearth the untold stories of these extraordinary men. What I found was a profound paradox: though they live in a world that seems forged in hell, their spirit shines with an unshakable gratitude for life itself. This is their story—a testament to the resilience of the human soul, even in the face of impossible odds.
